Pearl° is an essential exploration of the artistic spectrum, offering an island to thriving mid-career artists to freely experiment with courageous ideas. Pearl° values above all the quality of the produced work, indifferent from the artist’s gender, prominence and socio-geographical background.
We invite artists who have an extensive experience and understanding of their own work, its context, appeal and impact. We look for the questions being asked today in the frames of art, society, economics, politics, philosophy, psychology, humanity - as an attempt to lead the viewer to reflect and identify their individual standpoint.
Initiated in the Parisian art scene context, Pearl° pursues the creation of an outstanding artistic discourse across all nations. The artists are called to interact within an exhibition frame by receiving full liberty of expression, uncurbed by any institutional, commercial or political limitation.
All exhibitions are different and follow no particular format, adjusting themselves to the space, which accommodates them and has the potential to take place across several countries. A group show of 2, 3 or 4 artists is preferred as to initiate an intimate dialogue, yet a solo show is not excluded.
An interdisciplinary and international duo — Gabriela Anco & Patricia Reinhart, sharing skills within the pure artistic practice and clear theory, Pearl° seeks new angles and perspectives. Independent from any establishment, we have the freedom to engage with an unrestricted number of artists, spaces, theories and constellations.
